    These are so great, can’t believe they are middle school, I would love to try this with my senior citizens art group, why did you need the paper mache was this covered over the whole background? just curious

      Thanks for the feedback! The paste paper, which is made using acrylic paint and papier mache paste, is simply what you see through the parts of the acetate that AREN’T painted— you can use any decorative paper or even an abstract painting. The first three pictures in this post show students working on their acetate with their background pieces to the side—it’s easier to understand the layering when you see each piece separate.
