Op Art: Spheres and Vortex Drawing
Once again, my Middle School Art Teachers Facebook Group came through with this fun lesson, posted by fellow member Susan Becker Jones. Optical and Illusion-based art is always popular with middle schoolers, and this requires only the simplest of materials: It could be done with just a pencil, but markers and colored pencils also provided fun options. We used Susan’s instruction packet, and I also created two video tutorials to supplement her written directions. This has been a hit with my remote learners!
